Evanston Life Magazine Won’t be Delivered to Your Home Anymore

Parks Director says plan is to reduce the number of print copies and combine seasonal issues.

The magazine will combine the spring and summer issues and reduce the number of copies from 35,000 to 10,000, according to a recent Evanston Now report.

Parks Director Lawrence Hemingway says "there seems to be a lot of waste” in splitting the publication into four quarterly editions.

The publication promotes arts and leisure in the city.

The magazine - which will remain online in its entirety - will still be mailed to some of the city’s partners including senior citizen buildings, but the mailings to all city households will stop.
