Evanston Loves Valli Produce

Evanstonians may have just found their new favorite grocery store.

Valli Produce, which opened on Wednesday at 1919 Dempster St. in the Evanston Plaza, was described as “super impressive,” a “terrific option” and a “great addition to the neighborhood by Facebook fans of Evanston Patch Wednesday night.

“I loved it,” Sourma Khoury said. “It’s closer than Fresh Farms on Touhy in Niles, so I’m happy.”

Marci Rubin was impressed with the “beautiful produce,” “great selection” and “friendly and helpful staff.”

“Great addition to the neighborhood!” she said.

Mary Burke-Peterson called the new Valli option “terrific.”

“Great store, wide selection, good price points,” she said.

And Liz Reeves said she was “super impressed” by the variety of products, “including an impressive bakery and gelato bar, and hand rolled sushi bar.

“Produce, of course, was ample. Didn’t have time to check out the deli/fish and meat counter. I’ll definitely be back!”
