Evanston Man Named Managing Partner of Law Firm's Lake County Office

Matthew Williams has been with Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. since 2003.

An Evanston man has been appointed as managing partner of the Lake County office of the Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. law firm based in Waukegan.

Matthew L. Williams, 42 has practiced law with the firm since 2003 and was named a partner six years later.

“Matt has proven to be an exceptional lawyer and victim’s rights advocate, and he’s also very well respected by his legal peers, clients and our wonderful Lake County staff,” said Patrick A. Salvi, Founder and Managing Equity Partner of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. “While we’ve expanded our Chicago practice over the past ten years, our roots are still in Lake County. I’m confident Matt will help strengthen and grow our brand here, which was established in Lake County more than 30-years ago.”

Williams will run the office’s day-to-day operations and oversee the long-term planning for the office Salvi started in 1982. The firm currently has a half dozen lawyers and twenty employees in its Lake County office. Williams will replace David J. Pritchard, who is now serving as Of Counsel to the firm and as a mentor to the firm’s attorneys.

Williams concentrates his practice in medical malpractice, personal injury, construction negligence, and premises liability. Mr. Williams is on the board of managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and was named to the Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s prestigious “40 Under Forty” list in 2013.
