Bernadette Veeneman age 69 of Evanston. Beloved wife of Jerry Wagner; loving mother of Mary Kate Wagner; dear sister of John Veeneman, Theresa Veeneman, Robert Veeneman (Robert Wheatley) and James (Mary Lawler) Veeneman; fond aunt of Jamie and Shane Veeneman.

Bernie was a dedicated educator who taught grade school, high school, and graduate school. She was an empathic pastoral counselor and therapist. Bernie enriched the lives of everyone she encountered. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend.

Visitation Thursday February 25, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Rd. Skokie, IL 60077. Funeral Mass Friday 10:00 a.m. at Saint Athanasius Church 1615 Lincoln St, Evanston, IL 60201, Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
