Elizabeth Louella Blix Adamson, Born in Sauk Center Minnesota, February 13, 1917, passed into eternal life December 8, 2015. Daughter of the late Eleanor Schoen and the late Adolph Blix, DDS; Preceded in death by her husband of fifty years Thomas E. Adamson Jr. and infant daughter Catherine; Survived by her children Mary (Richard) Gleisner, Thomas E., III (Elizabeth C.), John O. (Ann), and Kiki (Stephen) Misovy; Loving grandmother to 14 and great grandmother to 37; Preceded in death by brothers Willard and John Blix; fond aunt to many. Accomplished musician, organist, choir director, well-known for her St Athanasius Monastic Boys choir. Artist, writer, composer, teacher, dedicated to her faith, family, prayer and music. Resident of Evanston for more than 70 years, 20 years at Three Crowns Park. “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” (Plato)

Visitation Monday December 14, 2015, 8:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Procession 10: 00 a.m. from Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie, IL 60077

Funeral Mass Monday December 14, 2015 10:30 a.m. at St. Athanasius Church, 1615 Lincoln St., Evanston, IL 60201.

Interment private Oak Hill Cemetery, Geneva, IL
