Longtime Evanston resident was a week away from turning 100.

Marie Ipjian, who would have been 100 on January 1st, passed away on December 28, 2014. She was a longtime resident of Evanston and a survivor of the 1915 Armenian Genocide. Beloved wife of the late Charles G. Ipjian; loving mother of John (Alice Kupelian) Ipjian, Allen (Mary Geraghty) Ipjian, Richard Ipjian, and the late Rose (Richard Daley); dear grandmother of 7; great-grandmother of 10 and the late Caitlin.
Visitation Saturday, January 3, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at St. James Armenian Church, 816 Clark Street, Evanston, IL 60201. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Armenian Church, c/o the Church.
