Evanston Paves Way for Alcohol Sales at Indoor Sporting Events
City Council created a 'Class W' license at the request of Quad Indoor Sports.

EVANSTON, IL - Alcohol could soon be served at indoor sporting venues in Evanston after the City Council approved the creation of a new class of liquor licenses this week.
The new class, Class W, will allow alcohol sales at venues that also serve food from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and from noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday, according to an Evanston Review report.
The new license class came from a request from the owners of Quad Indoor Sports, a new sports and multi-purpose facility at 2454 Oakton St. in Evanston.
