Nearly 250 People Jumped in the Lake Saturday for Charity
Participants raised $87,000 for Special Olympics Illinois.
If you're going to jump in Lake Michigan in February, you could do worse than the beautiful day we had last Saturday when 245 people did just that.
They were participating in the annual Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics Illinois. In total, those who took the plunge at 's North Beach raised $87,000, according to Katie Grisham with the Special Olympics.
