Evanston Resident Makes "40 Under Forty" Lawyers List

Partner Matthew Williams Named to Law Bulletin’s “40 Under Forty” List

(September 27, 2013) - Matthew L. Williams, a partner at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in Waukegan has been named to the Law Bulletin’s “40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch for 2013.”

The Law Bulletin Publishing Company reviewed more than 1,300 nominations submitted from lawyers throughout Illinois to identify this year’s most talented young lawyers.

Mr. Williams has been a lawyer with Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. for the past decade and was named a partner in 2009.  Mr. Williams concentrates his practice of law in the areas of automobile accidents, medical malpractice, construction negligence, premises liability and product liability. During his time with the law firm he’s secured more than $50 million in verdicts and settlement on behalf of his clients.

“I am extremely honored to be nominated by my peers for this recognition,” said Matthew Williams.

Mr. Williams is a member of numerous bar associations, including the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Lake County Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. He’s also been a guest lecturer at Kellogg’s School of Management and the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Mr. Williams received his Juris Doctorate in 1998 from DePaul University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995 from the University of Illinois. He is also a 1991 graduate of Libertyville High School.

Mr. Williams resides in Evanston with his wife and three children.
