Evanston Restaurant Ranked Among Nation's Best Buffalo Wings

EVANSTON, IL — An Evanston eatery has been ranked among the top spots the country for Buffalo wings. Buffalo Joe's, which has locations at 812 Clark St. in Evanston and 1841 W. Howard St. in Chicago, has long been regarded as having some of the best wings in the North Side. It also now has the nation's 19th-best Buffalo wings, according to a food website's recent listing of the 25 best Buffalo wings in America.

All of Buffalo Joe's sauces are homemade, from mild, to spicy, to its "suicide sauce." In addition to their crispy wings, the restaurant's waffle cheese fries are regarded as unmissable.

Founder and namesake Joe Prudden is a Buffalo native and wing pioneer in the Chicago area, according to its website.
