Shop For a Cause Wednesday and Say 'Hi' to Patch
The South Evanston Whole Foods is hosting a Community Support Day with 5% of sales supporting two local nonprofits. Evanston Patch will be there with seeds you can plant to take home.
Got some grocery shopping to do? Come by the tomorrow and you can cross that task off the list while helping better the community.
Wednesday is a Community Support Day at the 1111 Chicago Ave. store, with 5 percent of net sales being donated to local nonprofits, in this case New Moms Inc and Bright Endeavors. The Chicago organizations both support adolescent mothers.
While you’re there, stop by and say hello to Evanston Patch. We’ll have a table near the entrance from noon to3 p.m. where you can plant seeds to take home with you. will be hosting a story and snack time for kids from 10-10:30 a.m. and will present an introduction to sign language for babies from 3-3:30 p.m.

Additionally, the store will be accepting donations of gently used baby items and new diapers.
