Evanston Woman Indicted on Reckless Homicide Charge From September Crash
Monica Wallace is alleged to have caused the death of a local man in September when her vehicle flipped on Dodge Avenue.

A reckless homicide charge has been added against an Evanston woman accused of striking multiple parked vehicles, killing a 45-year-old Evanston man who had been a passenger in the vehicle.
Monica Wallace, 42, of the 1400 block of Brown Avenue, had originally been charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol following the September 27 incident in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue. Following the results of a crash investigation that was presented to a Grand Jury at the Circuit Court of Cook County, the reckless homicide charge was added against Wallace.
Lamart Bailey was the passenger who died following the crash at Evanston Hospital.
