EVANSTON, IL — Notable historical sites around Evanston will be opening their doors this weekend for visitors to check out some of the area's architectural gems as part of the 2017 Chicago Open House, the annual free architectural festival presented by the Chicago Architecture Foundation.

Enjoy free entry everywhere, guided tours, special access and learn the history of the home of the Temperance Movement, Northwestern University, amazing 19th Century churches and the first Bahá'í temple in the Western Hemisphere.
