Fifield Cos. Celebrates First Birthday of E2 Apartments in Downtown Evanston

Chicago-based Fifield Cos. recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of the opening of E2 Apartments, the developer’s 353-unit luxury rental community in downtown Evanston. The project team, residents, and community partners enjoyed small bites, a signature E2 cocktail and live entertainment at a private reception held April 7 on the property’s fourth-level amenity floor.

Currently 96 percent leased, E2 has elevated luxury rental living on the North Shore with its high-end finishes and variety of floor plans. The property, which opened in April 2015, comprises two buildings: a 16-story tower at 1881 Oak Ave. and a 14-story tower at 1890 Maple Ave. offering a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. In addition to the tower residences, E2 has 12 rental townhomes – accessible via private entrances on Emerson Street – ranging in size from 1,750 to 1,875 square feet. All homes feature top-of-the-line finishes, including plank floors, oversized windows, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, high-end lighting and plumbing fixtures, and in-unit laundry.

The towers are connected by a four-story structure that includes three levels of parking and a full suite of amenities, including a full-size basketball court, state-of-the-art fitness center, lounge area, party room with demonstration kitchen, theater, business center with conference room, coffee bar and outdoor pool and spa with cabanas, grilling stations and dining areas.

E2 also features 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, a portion of which is currently occupied by premier boutique fitness studio exhale.
