Flawless 'Mannequin Challenge' Pulled Off at Evanston Tree Lighting Ceremony

EVANSTON, IL - Performing a "Mannequin Challenge" and capturing it on video is harder than it looks.

Pulling one off at an event with members of the public taking part is surely even more difficult.

But not for the city of Evanston, apparently. The city shared a video of a "Mannequin Challenge" pulled off during the start of the city's annual tree lighting ceremony Friday night.

The challenge was pulled off flawlessly, even in the bitter cold. Onlookers, band members and city officials all took part.

The first comment when the city shared the video of the challenge on Facebook, from Kimberly Richards, sums this up in the simplest, and best, way possible.

"Evanston is so cool!"
