Former North Shore Line Superintendent Dies

Michael B. Vasquez, age 86, beloved husband of the late Jessie Vasquez; loving father of Maria Chapman (Adam Al-Dabbagh), Rosa (Marc) Rodriguez, Anna Luisa (Michael) Suarez, Manny (Ofelia) Chavez and the late Martha (Alan) Gaa; loving grandfather of Anna Chapman, Rebecca Bencal and the late Vanessa Castro, Monica and Michael Rodreguez, Amanda Tokarev, Mark Chavez, Tiana, Natalie, Travis and the late Nicholas Gaa; great grandfather of Colin, Olivia and Jax Bencal and Connor Castro; dear brother of Amalia Torres and Elvira Torres.

Michael worked for the CTA for over 35 years and retired as superintendent of the North Shore Line.

Visitation Sunday 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
