Fountain Square Art Festival Adds Craft Beer Event

Art work, music and beer tasting will be part of the June 25-26 festival at Fountain Square.

EVANSTON, IL - The Fountain Square Art Festival returns later this month and has added a beer tasting event. 

The festival will include "eclectic works from more than 150 artists," according to a news release from the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, which sponsors the yearly event at the intersections of  Sherman and Church streets.  

Fest hours are from 10 a.m.-9 pm on Saturday, June 25 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 26. A gate donation of $5 benefits the Evanston Chamber.

A Fountain Square Craft Beer Tasting will be new to the event this year. The microbrew will be open from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday. For $25, pass holders can sample up to 12 three ounce special beers including those from Evanston as well as regional and national specialties.

The festival will also include a music portion. Here's the schedule.
