Fun Future For All Introduces Children's Book and Saving Bank, Teaching Children About Philanthropy in Creative Ways
Fun Future For All is a not-for-profit organization whose efforts bring children to a greater understanding of those in need.
Evanston, Ill.-based Fun Future For All®, a not-for-profit organization whose efforts bring children to a greater understanding of those in need while promoting fiscal and social responsibility, this week launched its children’s book and savings bank. The bank’s unique three-section design helps teach children about savings and philanthropy in creative and accessible ways.
The bank and accompanying story book were created as an interactive way to help children understand saving for a short-term, FUN goal (such as a new toy); a longer-term, FUTURE goal (like what you want to be when you grow up); while also giving to those in need to supply items that are necessary FOR ALL (such as food and shelter). Included is a build-and-decorate bank with three sections for saving and an original illustrated story explaining the concept of short-term, long-term and philanthropic savings. The book leads readers to create and display pictures of their goals on their bank, and to change them once their goals, or concepts, have also changed. Funds from the bank can be easily removed to purchase a FUN item, save for the FUTURE and donate FOR ALL.
Founded by entrepreneur and mom Jolee Rosenkranz, Fun Future For All began as a conversation with her young daughter about helping others

“It was at first challenging to explain the whys and how we give back to a little one, but the conversation naturally lead to us creating and decorating our bank. Once we started to regularly talk about it and contribute to it, the concept really clicked with her. She began to understand savings toward a goal and it was so much fun watching her goals change as she got older or met them and moved on to new ones,” said Rosenkranz, president and CEO of Fun Future For All. “But what made my heart swell was when I saw she was making her ‘For All’ fund just as much of a priority. It was working! And she began to realize through the visual reminder of her pictures on the bank, that while it’s fantastic to save up for a new item she wants, it’s equally as important to ensure our neighbors have everything they need.”
With the philanthropic goals of Fun Future For All in mind, Rosenkranz found a natural partnership with Fedcap. A NY-based nonprofit founded in 1935, Fedcap develops innovative, creative and sustainable solutions that help people surmount barriers, work toward economic independence, and effect change in their families and communities. All orders of the Fun Future For All books and banks are being fulfilled and packaged by Fedcap employees. The integral role Fedcap Manufacturing played in the development of Fun Future For All was one of multiple Fedcap services showcased at their Annual Celebration of Work Gala on Monday night at the Pierre Hotel in New York City.
