Grant Will Help Erie Family Health Center Expand
Nearly $1 million from NorthShore University Health System will allow the clinic to provide service to more low-income families.

EVANSTON, IL - The Erie Family Health Center in Evanston will expand after receiving nearly a $1 million gift from the NorthShore University Health System.
The grant will help the center, located on Dempster Street on the West Side of Evanston near the border of Skokie, expand its services to more low-income patients according to a Pioneer Press report.
The center will be gifted a total of $900,000, $700,000 of which will come from a capital grant. The money will help expand the physical space of the clinic by 7,000 square feet and double the number of its exam rooms.

"We know there is still a great unmet need for primary care services," said Dr. Lee Frances, CEO and president of Erie Family Health Center.
