Grocery Store Holiday Hours: Jewel-Osco, Mariano's, Whole Foods

Poeta’s Food Market, 520 Green Bay Road in Highwood will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. Similar hours are planned for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Jewel-Osco, with several North Shore locations, will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. On New Year’s Eve, Jewel will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on New Year’s Day. Jewel-Osco locations on the North Shore are at 890 N. Western Ave. in Lake Forest, 1517 Sheridan Rd. in Wilmette, 411 N. Green Bay Road in Wilmette, 2502 N. Waukegan Rd. in Glenview, 2485 W. Howard St. in Evanston, 1128 Chicago Ave. in Evanston, 2775 Pfingsten Rd. in Glenview, 16 S. Waukegan Rd. in Deerfield and 1600 Deerfield Rd. in Highland Park.

All Mariano’s stores will close at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and remain closed on Christmas Day. Area stores are located at 3358 W. Touhy Ave. in Skokie, 1822 Willow Rd. in Northfield and 25 Waukegan Rd. in Glenview.

Heinen’s Grocery Store, with two North Shore locations, will be open until 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve, closed on Christmas Day, open until 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and closed on New Year’s Day. Heinen’s locations are at 2503 Waukegan Rd. in Bannockburn and 1020 Waukegan Rd. in Glenview.
