Gun Shot Fired Outside Tommy Nevin's Pub Over Weekend
A 20-person fight in the street involved the firing of one shot.

EVANSTON, IL - A large fight outside Tommy Nevin’s Pub in Evanston over the weekend involved a gun shot.
No one was injured from the gunshot, although one man did have a cut finger from the fight on the street, the Daily Northwestern reports.

Police originally responded to the pub at 1454 Sherman Ave. around 1 a.m. Saturday to the belief that a person had been shot. But after failing to find a victim, they determined a gunshot came from the crowd involved in the fight that escalated into the middle of the street.
About 20 people were involved in the distrurbance, but no one was charged.
