The City of Evanston’s official trick or treating time is from 4-7 p.m.

In Lake Forest, Trick-or-treating is from 4-8 p.m.

Trick-or-treating is permitted in Northbrook with suggested hours of 3-8 p.m.

In Wilmette, trick-or-treating is from 4-8 p.m.

In Winnetka, children may trick-or-treat from 2-5:30 p.m.

BOO BASH

At Lincolnwood Town Center. Children are invited to show-off their most creative, spookiest and best costumes in this safe, indoor, air-conditioned and entertaining alternative to traditional outdoor Halloween activities will offer free trick-or-treating fun the whole family can enjoy. Attendees will enjoy storytelling and then a dance party, featuring a DJ, games and prizes. A “Sweets Stroll” will take place from noon to 2 p.m., with storytelling by the Lincolnwood Public Library set to begin at 12:30 p.m. A dance party will take place between 1-3 p.m.

A FUN NIGHT OUT

Temperance Beer Company at 2000 Dempster Street in Evanston is taking it back to the golden age of hip hop. From our calendar of events: The one and only Biz Markie is coming to the Temperance Tap Room to do a DJ set along with special guests! Costumes encouraged, dancing required. DJ Teebot will begin at 7 p.m. DJ TightNatural at 8 p.m.
