Harley Clarke Mansion Site Could Be Home to 9 New Homes

If the Harley Clarke mansion is torn down, as many as nine single family homes could take its place.

That’s what city staff told members of the Harley Clarke committee this week - outlining the possibility to turn the property at 2603 Sheridan Road into nine separate lots, according to Evanston Now.

“All of the lots would meet the city’s minimum lot size requirement of 7,200 square feet under the R-1 zoning that now surrounds the mansion property.”
