Heartwood Center - 21 Day Fundraising Challenge
Heartwood Center has officially transitioned to non-profit status, operating as the healing arts component of Mindrol Ösel Ling.

Heartwood Center is in the midst of positive change – we have become the official non-profit, healing arts component of Mindrol Ösel Ling (which now includes Tsogyaling Meditation Center).
We need your help: we have a goal of raising $21,000 in 21 days so that Heartwood can close out all obligations as it transitions to this new structure. This fundraising campaign is critical for the organization and focuses on the last (massive) property tax assessment due 4/1 and administrative and legal fees that have to occur this month at 1818 Dempster.
A new Heartwood Advisory Council has been formed to help fundraise during this transformative time. The 8-10 council members selected have been clients of Heartwood for many years, and recognize how the practitioners and Center have benefitted the health of so many individuals. The expanded low cost and affordable services provided to the community at large via Women and Cancer Program and partnership with Erie Family Health are especially wonderful.

Nancy Floy, founder of Heartwood, writes to us from the foothills of the Himalayas in India where she is at a meditation retreat. “I am thrilled this council has been formed. The practitioners at Heartwood all recognize and know these women and the journey we are all on. Our vision for Heartwood has long been to become a not-for-profit that supports the health of the community and continues to be an enduring, shared resource for all.”
