Hillary Clinton Charges Nearly $3,000 to Attend Campaign Fundraiser in Evanston
The Democratic Presidential hopeful will be at an Evanston home in November. Evanston Mayor among co-hosts who have donated more than $27K.
The early frontrunner in the 2016 Presidential election will be in Evanston next month for a fundraising campaign. But if you want to go, you’ll have to fork over more money than you would at a Chicago Cubs playoff game.
Hillary Rodham Clinton raise money for her Presidential bid from 5-7 p.m. on November 2 at the Evanston home of Eric Janssen, the president of a Chicago real estate company, according to the Daily Northwestern.
Tickets for the event, which will be co-hosted by Evanston Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl and U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Evanston, cost $2,700 per person. But that does include a photo with the former U.S. secretary of state who lost in her 2008 primary bid for the Democratic nomination.

The event is an official “Hillary for America” event, and will also be hosted by Cubs co-owner Laura Ricketts and Fred Eychaner, an entrepreneur known for generous contributions to Democratic politicians.
To become an event co-host, individuals must raise $27,000 for the campaign.

Clinton is seeking the 2016 Democratic nomination for President along with Bernie Sanders, Lawrence Lessig, Martin O’Malley and Jim Webb.
