Hilton Orrington Sold For $60 Million
Two-year owners of downtown Evanston hotel made profit following renovation.

EVANSTON, IL - The owners of the Hilton Orrington Hotel in downtown Evanston have sold it for nearly double the amount they paid for it just two years ago.
A renovation “vicariously described” as having cost either $5.1 million or $8.6 million took place at the hotel since it was purchased by the Carlyle Group and Dow Hotel Company, according to Evanston Now.
The joint venture paid $31 million for it in 2014 and sold it recently to Olshan Properties for $60 million.
Andrea Olshan, CEO of Olshan, said her company is “thrilled.”
