Homeless Sex Offender Arrested on Chicago Avenue
The 54-year-old man was taken into custody for failing to register as a sex offender.

EVANSTON, IL - A homeless man who was required to register as a sex offender last October was arrested in Evanston this month.
The 54-year-old man was taken into custody by Evanston police in the 300 block of Chicago Ave. on Saturday, March 26 according to the Daily Northwestern.

The man was released from a correctional facility on Oct. 9 and had three days to register as a sec offender. Police noticed he hadn’t registered while investigating a theft report and coming across his name on a private online database.
