Do you love Big Band music? Evanston Township High School will present a Jazz Big Band concert on Tuesday, May 3. This event is free and open to the public and begins at 7 p.m. in the ETHS Auditorium.
The concert will feature ETHS’s three Jazz Bands: Lab Band, Jazz Band, and Jazz Ensemble, all under the direction of Mike Lehman. The bands are modeled after the great swing bands from the 1930s and ’40s with the four traditional big-band sections: saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and rhythm. Come out and enjoy a great evening of live jazz music!
ETHS is located at 1600 Dodge Ave. in Evanston. The Auditorium is handicapped accessible. Park in the lot on Dodge Ave., directly across from the Auditorium entrance.
