Jesse White Tumblers to Wow St. Joan of Arc School

Celebrating Open Enrollment with a Tumbling Spectacular

St. Joan of Arc School in Evanston, Illinois is excited to announce open enrollment for the 2018-2019 school year. To thank our current families and encourage potential new families to visit this gem of a school in Skokie/Evanston, Interim Principal Dr. Marcia Tornatore has invited the Jesse White Tumblers to the school. The esteemed team of youth acrobats will perform their feats of anti-gravity at St. Joan of Arc School, located at 9245 Lawndale Avenue, Evanston, on Wednesday, April 25 at 2:00 p.m.

St. Joan of Arc is a Catholic School educating students in 3-year-old preschool through eighth grade. The U.S. Department of Education has recognized St. Joan of Arc as a National Blue Ribbon School, affirming the excellent educational offerings of the school, which include Spanish language classes beginning in Junior Kindergarten, common core math curriculum and an award-winning science program. In addition to top-notch academics, St. Joan of Arc offers a myriad of extracurricular and athletic activities. From cheerleading to chess club, from choir to coding, St. Joan of Arc has offerings for the entirety of its diverse student body.

In addition, St. Joan of Arc emphasizes service learning through its year-long service projects that culminate in Service Day. This year, St. Joan of Arc Service Day is Friday, April 27. On that day, students and staff will volunteer at various not-for-profit outlets, including the Maryville Crisis Nursery and Feed My Starving Children. “Service Day helps our students learn empathy and compassion in a very real and hands on way. The lessons learned will make them better life-long citizens of the world,” said Holly Pickering, school board member.
