Jewish "Pavarotti" to Sing at Beth Emet Synagogue

Known as the “Jewish Pavarotti,” Greek-born tenor Alberto Mizrahi is cantor of the historic Anshe Emet Synagogue in Chicago. One of the world’s leading interpreters of Jewish music, Cantor Mizrahi has thrilled audiences worldwide. Spanning nine languages, his amazing repertoire makes every performance a musical journey to the heart of the Jewish faith. He will be presenting his famous program “The Voice of a People,” featuring Hebrew, Yiddish, Greek, and Sephardic music of his heritage, along with some duets with Cantor Susan Lewis Friedman.
