Jogger Who Wanted to Buy Weed Got Robbed Instead
The Evanston man was approached by a man in a white van Sunday night on Chicago Avenue.

A 25-year-old Evanston man reported being robbed Sunday night in the 100 block of Chicago Avenue after initially believing he was going to buy marijuana.
According to the Daily Northwestern, the man was jogging when he was approached by a man asking if he wanted to buy marijuana. The jogger agreed to make the purchase, but the offender demanded the money without selling him anything while reaching in his pocket to retrieve something.
The jogger then agreed and pulled out his wallet. He was then pushed by the offender, who fled southbound in a white van with $60.
