Judge Jerry Esrig Gains Widespread Support Throughout Cook County in Bid For Judge in the 9th Subcircuit

Majority of Evanston Alderpersons, Chicago Federation of Labor, and Personal PAC throw support behind Judge Jerry Esrig.

In the race for Judge in Cook County’s 9th Subcircuit (Berman Vacancy), Judge Jerry Esrig continues to add names to an impressive list of endorsements from throughout Cook County. Most recently, the Chicago Federation of Labor (CFL) and Personal PAC announced their endorsements of Judge Esrig.

In its endorsement, the CFL wrote, “You demonstrated a strong understanding and respect for the issues that are important to working families and union labor, and we are confident that your intellect and experience will serve you well in your capacity as a judge.”

For the first time in many election cycles, the Democratic Committee of the 9th Subcircuit has unanimously endorsed a candidate, Judge Jerry Esrig. Evanston Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl and former Evanston Mayor Lorraine Morton have been joined by a majority of Evanston‘s City Council who have added their names to Judge Esrig’s support list. Alderpersons endorsing the longtime Evanston resident include:

• 3rd Ward Alderperson Melissa Wynne
• 4th Ward Alderperson Donald Wilson
• 5th Ward Alderperson Delores Holmes
• 6th Ward Alderperson Mark Tendam
• 8th Ward Alderperson Ann Rainey
• 9th Ward Alderman Brian Miller
