K-12 student art on display at Evanston High School
Students in Districts 65/202 will have their art on display at ETHS. Tours of ETHS arts classes and hands-on arts activity also available.

The Annual Visual Arts Exhibition and Open House, hosted by Evanston/Skokie School Districts 65 and 202, will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday, November 15, at Evanston Township High School (ETHS). The event, free and open to the public, will feature an exhibition of almost 500 works of art by young artists in every medium, kindergarten through 12th grade, who attend the Evanston public schools.
Each year a piece of literature is chosen as the inspiration for visual imagery. This year’s selection is the poem “Cloud” by Sandra Cisneros. And, while this is an art exhibition, it is also an open house where families and the general public can tour the ETHS visual art classrooms, see demonstrations by students, and explore their own inner artist with lots of hands-on art activities.
For more information, contact the ETHS Fine Arts Office at 847-424-7130. ETHS is located at 1600 Dodge Ave. in Evanston and is wheelchair accessible. Parking is available in the lot on Dodge Ave. directly across from the school’s auditorium entrance and in the rear of the school.
