On a recent Sunday morning, the busy streets surrounding downtown’s Federal Plaza came to an unexpected halt. With Calder’s Flamingo sculpture as a backdrop, passersby were treated to an impromptu flash mob performance from one of the city’s most popular Jewish bands, The Key Tov Orchestra. Their spirited Hebrew rendition of Hashem Melech (God is king), complete with lively musical accompaniment and dancers, captivated the large crowd that gathered and quickly became an Internet sensation.
