"To Kill a Mockingbird" at ETHS

ETHS presents classic Harper Lee adaptation

Evanston Township High School will stage “To Kill a Mockingbird” on December 10, 11 and 12 in the school’s Upstairs Theatre. Curtain is at 4pm on Dec. 10, and at 7:30pm on Dec. 11 and 12.

A timely and unforgettable play, based on the classic novel by Harper Lee, the story follows “Scout” Finch’s growth from childhood innocence to her deeper understanding of racial injustice as her lawyer father defends a falsely accused Black man in a small Southern town in the 1930s. Aaron Carney is directing the play.

General-admission tickets at $8 for adults, $6 for students, senior citizens, and Boosters Club members, are available online at www.ethstheatre.com, where you can print out your ticket, and at the ETHS box office before each performance.
