Kinzie Real Estate Group partnered with Rebuilding Together to Renovate Evanston Home
Chicago-based Kinzie Real Estate Group partnered with Rebuilding Together to provide assistance to elderly homeowners in Evanston, Ill.

Chicago-based Kinzie Real Estate Group partnered with Rebuilding Together, a national non-profit group that provides extensive home rehabilitation to low-income and disabled homeowners, to provide assistance to elderly homeowners in Evanston, Ill. Earlier this month, the Kinzie team completed tasks including replacing doors that were too heavy for the homeowners, painting their garage and landscaping their yard. The firm also was able to assist with other projects throughout the Chicago area, including rehabbing a non-functional bathroom and installing handrails for those requiring them.
For over 25 years, this organization has networked 100,000 volunteers including skilled tradespeople, local citizens, corporate partners and local businesses to transform communities in sustainable, positive ways. Rebuilding Together completes 10,000 projects per year. Kinzie principal Steve Spinell has been involved in the organization for over ten years.
“Our assigned home in Evanston was especially great for us because we’re already involved with that community through the building and marketing of Church Street Village townhomes,” said Spinell “We were thrilled to give back to a city with which we have a connection.”
