Kiwanis Club Honors 3 ETHS Athletes
Three college-bound athletes were the recipients of the Ted Van Zelst Award.

EVANSTON, IL - Three Evanston Township High School athletes were honored by the Kiwanis Club of Evanston recently with the Ted Van Zelst Award, a recognition named after a prominent engineer who founded the Evanston-based Soil Test company.
The Kiwanis Club presented the awards to baseball and basketball player Charlie Maxwell, girls soccer player Kira Faveken and Evan Lindley from the boys volleyball team.
The trip received a certificate of recognition, a book on leadership and a $25 gift card to Barnes & Noble.

Maxwell will play baseball at Northwestern, where he will major in economics.
Favekeh will continue her soccer career at Harvey Mudd College in California.
