Kiwanis Golf Outing, New Name Same Great Mission
Fundraiser golf outing for Kiwanis Foundation which awards over $20,000 annually to youth and children's organizations in Evanston area

The Kiwanis Foundation of Evanston has renamed their annual golf outing in honor of the late Bruce K. Goodman, a member for 58 years and a long-time supporter of the Evanston business community.
The 18th year of operation for the event, to be held Friday, June 29 at Canal Shores, the golf outing has enabled the club’s Foundation to make over $20,000 in grants to Evanston groups supporting youth and children for several years. Evanston mayor, Steve Hagerty, will be the celebrity starter for the event.
“Bruce was active whenever he committed to a group,” said Jim Wolinski, president of the Kiwanis Club of Evanston. A past president of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, an ardent supporter of Northwestern University and his alma mater, Duke University, Goodman recently participated in the Honor Flight, the organization that salutes veterans for their service to the country. He also served as a Director and President of the Western Golf Association.
