Lanes Reduced on Chicago Avenue for 2 Weeks

The installation on chilled water lines on Sheridan Road will result in traffic disruptions.

EVANSTON, IL - A construction project on Chicago Avenue in Evanston will begin on Monday, August 15 and last for a little longer than two weeks.

A temporary traffic control plan will be in place on the avenue between Sheridan Road and Clark Street until Sept. 2, according to a city news release. During this time, construction crews will work on the installation of chilled water lines.

Traffic lanes will be reduced during this time.
