Lifeline Theatre hosts summer camp for 7 - 12 year olds

Lifeline Theatre's Summer Drama Camps  continue in July with a session just for kids between 7 and 12 years old. This year's theme, Painting the Stage!, teaches kids to basic principles of performance and the kind of work that Lifeline does, namely story adaptation and ensemble work. T

The 7 - 12 year olds, known as DRAMA STARS, will have fun recreating the world of Nina Laden’s When Pigasso Met Mootsie. During the week the group will explore popular children's books and adapt them for the stage. On the last day, families will see the group's work with a final performance.

In addition to having fun, DRAMA STARS will learn how to work more patiently and respectfully with their peers, gain confidence, and express themselves better. All these are important life skills which will benefit kids in any setting.
