Lincolnwood Hires Glenview Health Inspectors
Village in favor of paying $80 per inspection for Glenview services.

Health inspectors for the village of Glenview will now being doing work in Lincolnwood as well.
Citing the rising cost for health inspections being performed by the Cook County Department of Public Health, Lincolnwood trustees recently agreed to dump their services in favor of an agreement with Glenview, which will charge them less - the Chicago Tribune reports.
Glenview, which has two full-time health inspectors on staff, will charge Lincolnwood $80 for each inspection.

“Glenview’s full-time inspectors have the time available to meet the needs of the village’s inspections,” said Doug Petroshius, assistant village manager of Lincolnwood. “Glenview will pay all the benefits and salaries, and then invoice Lincolnwood for the services.”
