Liquor Board in Evanston to Consider License Requests

Nine Evanston business are looking for liquor licenses or license upgrades.

EVANSTON, IL - Wednesday's meeting of the city of Evanston's Liquor Control Board will be a busy one, with nine requests for new or upgraded licenses on the table.

A Class D liquor license will be considered for Asian Cajun Too at 1322 Chicago Ave. and Sam’s Chicken & Ribs, Pizza at 1639 Orrington Ave.

The Barn, 1016 Church St. is looking for an upgrade from a Class D license.

The Caterist, 940 Pitner Ave., Suite 5 will be considered for a Class T liquor license to cater liquor.

North Shore Cider, 707 Howard St. is applying for a Class P-4 liquor license, which if approved will be for a craft winery/off-site consumption.

Dance Center Evanston, 1934 Dempster St. is seeking a Class U liquor license to sell alcohol during lice theater.

Meta Wine, 600 Main St. is seeking an upgrade from class P-3.

Pita 1, 1926 Central St. is seeking a Class H liquor license.

Quad Indoor Sport, 2454 Oakton St. is seeking a new license for an indoor sports facility.

The meeting is set to begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, Room 2750.
