Wildcats take on Wolverines in final home game of season.

Tipoff at 8 p.m. at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
Seniors JerShon Cobb, Jeremiah Kreisberg and Dave Sobolewski were honored prior to the game.
8:12 PM - First timeout on the floor comes after a nice move by Alex Olah gave Northwestern the early lead, 7-5 with just under five minutes into the contest.

8:25 PM - Wildcats slow down. Michigan goes on a 12-0 run with a mix of threes and inside shots. Northwestern calls a timeout down 19-12 at the 9:13 mark of the first half.
8:39 PM - Vic Law with my favorite play of the night: fighting a UM defender for the offensive rebound, putting up the put back and finalizing with a three-point play. Michigan still lead though, 28-23.

8:44 PM - A fun moment as an NU student proves she can name more periodic table elements than a Wildcat... Law - who used “Californium” as one of his guesses. 1:57 remaining, Wolverines up 31-25.
9 PM - Tre Demps’ half court shot at the buzzer just misses. Wolverines lead 34-27 at halftime. Aubrey Dawkins (Michigan) leads all scorers with 15. Scottie Lindsey with eight to lead the Wildcats.
9:19 PM - Zak Irvin hits a big three for the Wolverines to halt a Northwestern run that had then within six. Cats within seven, 44-37. Law and Olah with big plays keeping this one close.
9:29 PM - Michigan has no answer inside for Alex Olah. Wildcats storm back to take 45-44 lead. UM missing their outside shots.
9:40 PM - Cobb with a big three on Senior Night, but Michigan is hanging on to a 53-48 lead at a timeout called with 1:55 remaining.
9:54 PM - Michigan’s Zak Irvin sinks both free throws as Wolverines lead 59-56 with 20 ticks remaining.
9:56 PM - Northwestern steps out of bounds, Michigan gets ball up by three with 14.4 on the clock.
9:59 PM - Tre Demps sinks a long 3 to tie it at 59 with 2 seconds to go!
10:04 PM - We enter overtime after Michigan throws ball out of bounds and Demps misses the would-be winner at the buzzer.
10:23 PM - We have quite a game on our hands. Tre Demps hits ANOTHER trey to force double overtime. Wildcats were down by 6 in OT. NU with the edge thus far in the second extra stanza, leading 76-72 on an easy lay-up from Olah.
10:31 PM - The long night is over, at last. The Wildcats were left for dead in the late regulation and first overtime period, only to pull out an 82-78 win over Michigan in two overtimes. Cats are now 15-15.
10:58 PM - Northwestern head coach Chris Collins addressing the media. “Both teams were worthy of winning,” he said.
“That was an unbelievable college basketball game. The shot-making for both teams was incredible.”
