PEER Services provides community-based substance use prevention and treatment services to teens, adults and families in Northern Cook County, including Evanston, Maine, New Trier, Niles and Northfield Townships, and the north side of Chicago. PEER Services reduces the harms of substance use, addiction and stigma by engaging youth and adults with innovative prevention programming and by supporting people on their path to recovery through holistic, evidence-based treatment. The Out of the Darkness Walks are about raising crucial funds and creating a safe space for those impacted by suicide. At the event there will be an area to share messages of hope and remembrance. As you know, hope walks here!

Free parking is available in the South Lot near the Segal Visitors Center and metered parking is available along Sheridan Road. The event is rain or shine, so check the weather and dress appropriately before heading out!

The North Shore Chamber Orchestra will present a concert entitled "Marriage of the Sacred and Profane" at 3:30 pm on&nbsp;Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Evanston's beautiful and acoustically excellent&nbsp;Northminster Presbyterian Church under the baton of guest conductor Peter Rosheger with featured harp soloist Michael Maganuco.
