Lumen Optical Features Art from Local Artist Lisa Solar

This June, Lumen Optical is participating in Evanston Made, an annual arts celebration showcasing Evanston creatives who rent a studio space or live in Evanston. From today through June 30, Lumen Optical is proud to showcase the work of local Evanston Artist, Lisa Solar.

The works on display for this exhibit are studies on paper that reflect her interest in quantitative color theory - one part of a larger agenda from her exhibition of paintings on view later this summer, in Evanston, at The Saw Room Gallery. They offer a glimpse of her interest in Bauhaus methodology, relying on making empirical choices with form and color and continually reacting to them. Lisa’s displayed artwork is also available for purchase in Lumen Optical throughout the month.
