Man Shot on Emerson Street Wednesday
Victim struck in thigh, claims he was shot at several times by man walking westbound.

Police in Evanston are investigating a Wednesday afternoon incident in which a Skokie man was shot at several times, being struck once in the thigh, in the 1700 block of Emerson Street.
The alleged victim - a 22-year-old - reported he was shot at several times after exiting his vehicle shortly before 4 p.m. He says a male subject walking westbound on Emerson pulled out a handgun and fired the shots.
The only description of the suspect police have is that he is a black male wearing a blue shirt.

The victim is currently being treated with a non life-threatening wound at Evanston Hospital.
