Man Shot In Evanston Drive-By
Occupants of a white vehicle fired several shots on Darrow Avenue Sunday night.

EVANSTON, IL — Detectives are investigating a shooting that wounded an Evanston man Sunday night.
Evanston police said they received a call that shots had been fired in the 2100 block of Darrow Avenue around 10:33 p.m.
When they arrived, offices found a 32-year-old Evanston man who had been shot in his right upper thigh, police said.

The man told cops he had been standing outside when a white vehicle drove by and one of its occupants opened fire and discharged about four shots, police said.
The man's leg wound was not considered life-threatening, police said. He was treated at Evanston Hospital.

Police said they found four 9 mm shell casings from the street in the same block the man was found.
The victim said he will not press any charges related to the incident, according to Evanston police. Detectives continue to investigate.
