More Bike Racks Coming to Chicago/Main Train Stations
Grant allows city to move forward with project.
EVANSTON, IL - More bike racks will be added to the CTA and Metra stations at Chicago Ave. and Main St. in Evanston.
The city of Evanston and Regional Transportation Authority are partnering on the endeavor to add 40 new racks to the site in the coming months, according to the Evanston Review.
The project will cost $70,000 total, with $56,000 coming from a Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality grant from the CTA and $14,000 from the RTA.
