Mosquito Spraying Planned For North Shore Areas Tuesday
Find out if your area will be sprayed between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.

The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District will conduct targeted adult mosquito control operations in portions of Evanston, Golf, Kenilworth, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles, Skokie, Wilmette and Winnetka on Tuesday, June 30 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 2 a.m., weather permitting.
A total of seven areas are scheduled to be treated during this time, including:
- An area between Central Street and Lake Avenue, covering both Evanston and Wilmette
- An area east of Green Bay Road between Lake Avenue and Winnetka Avenue, covering parts of WIlmette, Kenilworth and Winnetka
- A triangular area between Skokie Boulevard, Oakton Street and Frontage Road/Linder Ave., covering parts of Lincolnwood and Skokie
- Neighborhoods between Dempster Street and Golf Road, covering parts of Morton Grove and Skokie
- A square area bordered by Touhy Ave. to the south, Natzhez Ave. to the west, Central Ave. to the east and Oakton St. to the north - covering Morton Grove, Niles and Skokie
- An area east of Harlem Ave., bordered by Central Road to the North and Golf Road to the south - covering both Glenview and Golf
- An area between Golf and Dempster in Morton Grove
