Mural to be Installed at Washington/Chicago CTA Viaduct
Artwork will be created by Jordan Nickel and commissioned by the Main-Dempster Mile.

EVANSTON, IL - A new mural is going up in Evanston at the CTA viaduct at Washington and Chicago Ave.
The mural will be created by Evanston-born artist Jordan Nickel, who is also known as POSE. It will be commissioned by the Main-Dempster Mile, the newly formed merchant organization that promotes Evanston's south-central neighborhood.
Installation of the mural will begin on Nov. 1. It will take up 95 feet on the north-facing wall of the viaduct.

Nickel - who has showcased his art in galleries in Dubai, London, New York and Los Angeles - describes his work as “a pop re-appropriation of everyday life, interpreted as highly layered abstract narratives."
